UBC iGEM Team Blog

I am going into my third year as a Biochemistry student this September. This is my first biological lab experience outside of my coursework and I love it! It has been so much fun learning with and from my peers who have become my friends too.

I plan on applying my education to go into medicine or possibly medical research. I have learned a lot about research through my experience with iGEM this year and I am amazed at all the possibilities it holds.

When not in the lab, I enjoy running, playing basketball, rock climbing and the outdoors. I also like to volunteer and contrubute to my community as much as possible at VGH and through the UBC Heart and Stroke Club of which I am Vice-president this year.
