  1. I am a first year pharmacy student at UBC.

When I first started several serious scientific adventures through science fairs during my senior years in high school, I have never imagined that phagocytosing macrophages, swishing centrifuges, and lab bustles can tell me so much about myself and my interests. Growing up an aspiring artist, research told me about of an art science really is. More importantly, research taught me how much I don’t know and how much I want to know.

I am excited to be part of the iGEM team and I am extremely grateful for the experience.

With interests in both the arts and the sciences, I am passionate about bridging people from different cultural and professional backgrounds to dream big and to devise interdisciplinary, wholistic solutions to today’s problems.

When I am not working or studying you can find me doodling down moments profound and mundane, daydreaming by the piano fiddling with legos of chords, battling away on the tennis court, lost in thought in a chess game or a book, travelling to random places around the world, or simply hanging out in the sunshine.
